Marjon Carlos is a cultural critic, editor, and creative consultant living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She is the former Senior Fashion Writer at Vogue.com, where her work explored the intersection of style, culture, gender, and race, and focused on a diverse cast of iconoclasts and cultural producers--from Gucci Mane to Serena Williams. Her writing has appeared within the pages of Wall Street Journal Magazine, ELLE UK, Essence Magazine, Here Magazine, Kiosk Magazine, and on Vogue, W, ELLE, Glamour, Saint Heron, and The Fader’s digital platforms. Widely influenced by her academic background, Marjon received her Bachelors in Gender Studies from Brown University in 2005 and Masters in African American Studies from Columbia University in 2009.
